Closing Tag Chain.. Sorry

As I got the news that Lefty has Tagged me, i read the rules carefully, and I was damn sure, still I am, that I shall not be able to find even one to continue the chain. So decided to post my reply in Lefty's comment only and did post too. Good Girl read that, and she gave me a suggestion that I should have posted in my blog page (probably i found that good, so trying to follow).

So Here it goes:

1) I am fond of Hard Working environment. Plausibly, this makes my friends feel afraid of knocking at my door for any help during exam time [:(]
2) I capitalize myself in research works. Thus Labs are my favorite classrooms.
3) I have very rude attitude towards people of fairer sex. May be, this is developed as a consequence of shyness which i had before coming to R.
4) Till date i have not developed any interest or hobbies. Probably, God only knows when i shall have atleast one.
5) Sometimes I write Hindi poems. Some of my friends admire me for this creativity. Thanks to those people who regularly goes to my page [:)]
6) I don't know how to ride a BICYCLE [:)]. So I request those Gurlz who dream of dating with me and long drive (this is usually found as their idea of a dream date), please hurry up for a life insurance plan before you meet me. I assure, you can make the insurance company bankrupt.
7) I tried hard to be among the most respected LLBs but [:(] could never be. Always had to sit in the front bench. Still continuing with the poor habit.
8) I love spicy food. But, Dear Almighty could not see me like that, and cursed me by weakening my liver and Poor Chocolaty had no other option left with, to stop eating outside the MESS [:(]

Well, These random facts I posted on Lefty's blog page first, so you can read from there too.

I could not find anyone whom i can tag[:(]. So stopping the chain. Hope other tagged people do not curse me.

Beginning

Chocolaty heartily welcomes you all after a Great Summer Break. Everyone is turning out to be a story teller (then, why would Chocolaty be left behind?). Some about their intern experiences in contrast to those who are contemplating about their wastage of that period (But, everyone has something to tell.). The first few folks among my classmates, who went for intern, got great rewards at the site. E.g. Lefty’s dear ex-roomy got two chicks to have lunch with. (Probably this was the only reason, which raised a whim in many a left-ones to try their luck also) and on the other side, Escorts were frying Dear Tommy, that too in metallurgical furnaces. (These are the facts, as I got to know from those folks only. Kudos to Google, as it invented Gtalk) Chocolaty had a buttery-bitterly experience too. (Read here, if really concerned to know)

Well, everyone is back to village R, (I hope) and busy in cumbersome working life. God was literally too crazy to see Good Folks rocking and gave an onslaught of huge series of lectures and lab works (damn the inventor of Time Table, it's too clumsy). That too could not satisfy Dear Almighty and imposed two bombardiers to guard us, namely Dangerous Danny, (Alas! If it would have been Danny Danzeoppa) and Ka(r)ma-less Chang-Rae. The only reward he bestowed upon us is Sam-Eeksha Jay-in. From the very first lecture, houseful and doubtful classroom is being noticed. Fight for being a frontier degree holder (Oh God! Can’t you notice the change? I tell you, numbers of one lecture doubts are rarely experienced in whole semester.) From the first day, everyone is loving to learn Financial Accountancy skills. Even folks from other dynasties are noticed to come for extra working hour (so excited!!).

At the end, Chocolaty wishes you all a very bright semester (start using CFLs in your room, because monsoon is determined to guard you from sun this autumn).

Me, My friends and The Queen

I was not at all in a mood to waste the enjoyment of experiencing ever heard beauty of the Queen of Hills, when I had been there for the first time. Before going there, I did not even have a snowy dream. From the very evening I convinced two of my friends that we can witness snow there as it had been raining since last two-three days in R. It was the time just before the commencement of 3rd semester. I was listed among the few earlier arrivals {as usual, even while boarding train, my parents send me to the station at least an hour ago before the scheduled departure, so tragic:( while the land is well known for late arrivals of trains, laluland :(}. Joining me were Taauji and Mr. Poet J. As I have already written, I convinced them, so credit goes to me for such a nice experience (:D), later it might turn to a discredit. Finally the trio arrived in the valley, three smart, cool, hunks from MMED @ R (:D). Taauji reminded of his earlier visit to the place and convinced us to follow him for a cheap place to lodge, though our 1.5 miles walk in that freezing night went in vain, and finally to save ourselves from the freezing wind, we found a place. Got ready in a while to roam around the valley to witness the preparation for New Year celebrations and we were done with the examination of those within half an hour. So, what to do now? A big question! Answer came as, roam around. So we took off for to and fro motion started at one end of the well famous Mall Road and from the other end came back. Mind you, we completed perhaps 4 complete laps like this only before we sat in the church compound near a bonfire. And see the style of celebration the people there at midnight, all drunk, wishing everyone and little more active police trying to show off their power (may be, they would have developed this kind of style for New Year celebrations). Well at 00.30 we were right back to our lodging place, everyone busy with 4’X1.5’ toy (approximate dimension), wishing family members, colleagues et cetras. The weather in the night made us realize that we are not going to find snow anywhere around. So upset, I was. Snow will only be in my dream:(.
Next morning we woke up early, another outstanding incident. Well, who dares taking bath in freezing water, however rays of beautifully risen sun was welcoming us outside. And we went on. In the pathway, Taauji described his earlier experience, just like Grandpa is telling story of his time to the grandsons. He was much excited by his experience of beautiful combination of mountains which just looked alike camel’s back, and also the road from which that was visible was named so. We followed him and reached a place where a guy was standing with a telescope. Taauji asked him about the way to Camel Mountback Road and the answer was the way by which we came. So damn, we missed that. We had a glance at the signboard, showing the ways to Company garden, 6 KM, Campety Fall, 13 KM and some more. We decided we’ll go for company garden. But what about the conveyance? My extraordinary mind gave an idea to make this journey an adventure as I proposed to walk this much distance. Imagine what would have happened to Mr. J. He would have killed me for this reason, but he was so kind to me. We walked all the way, 6 KM up and down, to see children’s park. So damn a decision, but I enjoyed, not the garden, but the walk. Hopefully they too, even if they had not, they are not going to tell youJ. That day I took the decision “I’ll come again to enjoy my snowy dream”. Because, I went again and fulfilled my wishes :).
For that experience, wait for the sequel:). Coming soon. Till then, Bbye:)

I'll be going home

Almost half the vacation is over and i am still enjoying roorkee. After the completion of end term exams, i was determined to concentrate on my research project, had dreams of bagging award of excellence, still do have, because summer vacation is not over yet and some what i followed it. Let's see how much i can excel. Some exceptions are there. I thought i'll be able to complete at least 2 session of Norman lewis' book daily, but could not follow it properly. I thought i'll read some course books for next semester, i'll be working on improvement of my poetic skills, but i did not follow it. That's why I feel, Its really tough to be a doer according to your thought. Then, what did i do actually? Got net in rooms during end term exams and excitement of that forced me to get the wireless card in the mid of exams. Not even that, i wasted two important preparation hours in trying to assemble it. Finally i did succeed in doing so and went online for two complete hours. Oh My God! A complete wastage of 4 important preparation hours, which i did not realize at that time but my grades in that paper made me realize the effort i had put in wasting my time and i tasted my 3rd B+ this semester. So worse of me. End sems were over, grades were displayed and i had to satisfy with a decent SGPA. Oh! Let me introduce you with my area of work a bit. I was working on fabrication of little dimensional objects, the so called nano structures. Whilst studying these structures, i found them so interesting, i made my dreams of joining research and development part of nano tech based industry, though its industrialization is still a dream. Well there is enough time left, off course till date, to realize whether i'll actually taste success in realizing my dream or not. One important part of my research project was those complements given by R K Sharma sir (FESEM lab attendant) during our sample characterization, "Are you guys doing a doctorate project in your B Tech only?" Those complements levitated me sometimes a little above the horizon. During those days, I tasted one good experience of using FESEM instrument by myself, which is not allowed to be handled by undergraduate students.
At the starting of vacations, i thought this summer is going to be toughest period of my life to spend, but you see i have spent almost half of those with some of my mates without facing very much difficulty. I should rather say, this summer has taught me a good lesson of life. But how did i mostly utilize this summer? Should i thank to Mr Orkut? I did study a bit, but remaining most of the time online and searching for someone to talk a bit, had that become an inevitable part of my summer days? Well hopefully i am now fed up of this orkut world and i'll be sincere again. The time has come to say good bye to roorkee for this summer with hopes of spending next summers overseas, with some determination of doing something more productive coming semester, I'll be going home by the end of this month. Bbye till next blog.

The palace which need not be named

Had it been an unnamed place, we would have survived from identity crisis. The story begins from the glance at the beautiful signboard. Chocolaty, Mota Bhai and Taauji were on the way to excel in shaping their final idea of Robosapiens, although it could never taste its final shape. And all of sudden Mota Bhai turned our attention to a beautifully designed signboard of a place to hang out, which certainly sensed us to go for the experiment. The signboard belonged to a palace which need not be named Royal, if somehow mistaken. It let us little difficulty to find the entrance, but we made it as we IITians are made to solve the difficulties only, however it has turned from being technical to something else which nobody can be confident of. Entry to the palace let us feel that we can never make mistakes in choosing our hangout, and let us feel proud too that our spouses will be happy always. The village people are finally rewarded with such a nice hangout and we are proud to discover it… Hurray… Hats off to the three Lords.

A nice table attached to couch and well cushioned seats were vacant for Lords; fortunately (for them) or coincidently, it depends on the inference only. And we let our muscles to be loosened. Glassfuls of cold water and even three round trips of waiter could not let us decide our plan of action and if someone doesn’t annoy in such circumstances, does it mean he is well trained as a waiter? Can’t be said exactly. We finally settled for some viscous liquids with chicks and some noshes, and produced our experimental recipe before honorary waiters (though they are well paid, they die out for tips). And, Mota Bhai’s Nokia 6610 rang up. On the line were Lefty and Chhote Miyan (how can there be two people on one line??). Our exaggeration made them feel to join us in the experiment of survival from everyday onslaught of mess food. I don’t know how they made Mr. Sporty Hunk (courtesy to Lefty, as the name was first given by you) and Chiraunjee joined them, but just can figure out a bit of conversation among them.
Lefty: “Hey guys!! 3 of Lords have discovered a nice hangout while wandering. We are following them. Would you be pleased to join us?”
Sporty: “Where is it? I would certainly be pleased (It may help me in increasing the number of options for my most awaited date)”
Lefty: “Not so far. It’s in the village only.”
Chiraunjee: “Guys lets have a look at the mess menu. Hope something is edible today.”
Chhote Miyan: “No way. I can smell of their lovely, sweet/salty tasty pedigree only.”
Chiraunjee (with heavy hearts, at least you people would have let me check once): “Then no option left with me too.”
And the royal transport took them out of the Farmhouse dynasty towards the palace. Though Lefty, even with 2.5 cm thick glasses, could not find the signboard (as it happens usually with him), Chhote Miyan led all of them to the divine palace.
During those conversations, let’s looks at the changes which have taken place in the experimental plan of action. Mota Bhai suggested that we should now go for something heavy or light to welcome rest of our dearest pals and we nodded accordingly.
(After giving orders for final experimental recipe)
Mota Bhai (to the waiter): “As some of our friends have to come, so please bring all the orders only after they come.”
Waiter: “Yes sir. (Seems I will follow your instruction, hunh)”
(After a while, waiter came)
Waiter: “Sir, liquid dishes are ready, so please have it.”
Mota Bhai: “No problem. Please keep it in the kitchen only and follow our instruction. (Are these kind of lab assistants we provided with. Hunh. Paplu and Taplu are much better choice)”
(This waiter followed us, but as he reached the kitchen, he was unexpectedly booted out. Followed him a villainous person zoomed towards our dynasty like a rocket)
Villain: “Sir, this is prepared for you and do have it. Is it clear to you?”
Mota Bhai (frightened a bit): “Yes ssss… I got you. (Thank god! even mistakenly I did not say sir)”
Taauji (breaking the silence): “Amazing taste dude. (It reminds me of mess only and nothing else: P)”
Decidedly Mota Bhai goes for one request.
Mota Bhai (to the waiter, though a bit frightened of denial): “Please bring rest of the orders after the arrival of our guests only.”
(And reply was)
Waiter: “Sir, the orders are ready and we don’t want to mesh up. So, I am going to bring them”
Mota Bhai (amusingly saw our faces, and we gave a sympathetic smile, “sorry, we can’t help”): “Okie ssss… Bring those items also.”
(Courtesy to outsiders, as they would have confused that who is actually Lord Hanumana among the three, though we were normal IITians only. This IIT brand name at least serves the purpose to let us pay 10 % lesser than general public in the village hangouts)

The team finally arrives. Their liquid dishes are brought too except one. As we were served with the heavier ones, we somehow put an effort to differentiate between the qualities being served elsewhere.
(One more request)
Mota Bhai (off course to the waiter): “Please cancel the left one liquid dish.”
(Waiter nodded in agreement, but did he follow?)
(Experiment is about to be over. And the waiter brings the left liquid dish, and we could just glare in the amusement. "So rubbish a service yaar".)
(The final expectation of ending was that we could be provided with small bowls to dip our fingers in hot lemon water, though we ordered only Chinese. But, in this case, the intelligent people escaped.)
(Okie guys! Now our experiment has almost failed. As, if you follow a hypothesis and succeed it’s the proof of the hypothesis, and if you fail, it’s a discovery. So guys, say aloud, we have made a discovery. Three cheers for 7 lords. Hip! Hip! Hurray)

Journey of UTSAV

In Hindu pujas, incense sticks glow, spreading the fragrance, bringing the blessing for all, guide us to the ecstatic journey to have a glimpse of eternity, due the pathway heard is the rhythmic tune of invisible string, that’s what for which people culminate to have bliss.

I have seen lives smiling there. I agreed that perfection is a way of life. Exactly the ways through which UTSAV traveled so far, being myself an eye witness.

Autumn ends, gathering starts to shape the final fantasy of the festive aura. At this stage, however, we don’t bother much about the initial preparations, making up the mindset “Wake me up when December begins…”, but can very well estimate the preparations taking place at far end, across the globe. Mind you, not nation, but globe. And then the sentence which brings the enthusiasm, which motivates most, is “Game On”.

Responsible citizens take their command, guide the up next generation of responsible citizens to optimize their talents to be a good literati, to be a good speaker, to explore their artistic imaginations and entertain with everything. Number of stairs left to climb becomes lesser, lesser and lesser.

Coming to my recent past. Sixth Edison of UTSAV just got over in my witnessing. Officially eighth. With the daybreak, start the test of commitment for their responsibilities assigned. With days being passed, tests toughen, commitments strengthen. Result? A huge success. Success in cultivating the level of intellect. Success in enhancing the learning ability. Mind you, being the successful learner, I feel, is the toughest test in which everyone appears, every moment. And came the end of festive aura, enlightening our souls, guiding us on the way to be the perfect.
